How do you play a heavy volley to pressure opponents?

The heavy volley focuses on placing the ball in a difficult zone for the opponent. The target area for the bounce is between 20 and 30 centimeters before or behind the service line. This shot does not require high aggression or high risk. The player uses backspin to make the ball die before it reaches the back glass. This technique works best for players looking to control the pace of the rally from the net position.
