The vibora relies on a continental grip to allow the racket to move around the side of the ball. Players must move sideways to reach the ball at full extension, keeping the contact point at head height. The elbow starts high, positioning the racket behind the head with the face closed toward the floor. The swing follows a shallow pathway, moving from high to low, similar to the motion of skimming a stone. This action generates side spin and keeps the ball low after it hits the side or back glass. Practicing by tossing the ball for yourself helps develop the feel for the throwing motion before moving to racket feeds.
