The Bullpadel XPLO 02 Comfort 2027 is the softer version of the XPLO 02, the power racket Bullpadel makes with Martín Di Nenno. It keeps the geometric head, the high balance and the new frame structure of the XPLO 02. Only the faces change: Fibrix, Bullpadel's mix of fiberglass and carbon, instead of 3K carbon. At €249.99 it costs €80 less than the XPLO 02.

Bullpadel aims it at advanced attacking players who want XPLO power with a softer feel. The racket is new for the 2027 season and only one short playtest exists so far. This page sets out the specs, the brand's claims and what they point to. It is a reading of the specs, not a test.

Bullpadel calls the XPLO 02 Comfort "the most accessible version" of the most extreme racket from its lab: lighter, more comfortable and easier to play, with the same attacking purpose.

  • Fibrix faces on a Multieva core. Bullpadel says the fiberglass and carbon mix gives a comfortable feel without losing control or power. With the three-layer Multieva core, it claims easier ball output and more depth on slower shots.
  • XPLO Core². This is the change Bullpadel puts first. It describes a vertical pillar through the heart of the racket, two fins above it and a hexagonal frame tube that is 3 mm thicker. The brand says this stops the frame from bending on impact, so less energy is lost.
  • Air Power and Wave System. A lower air channel 50% larger than the first version, for a faster swing, and a frame that flexes to help on defensive and slow shots, according to Bullpadel.
  • Ease Vibe and Custom Weight. Dampeners in four holes that the brand says absorb up to 60% of vibration, and 3 g plates to change weight and balance.

Bullpadel's own chart on the product page gives the Comfort a power score of 3, against 5 for the XPLO 02, and a slightly higher score for sweet spot size. Both get the same stiffness score.

Early coverage. One hands-on video exists so far. All Court Padel played the Comfort side by side with the XPLO 02 and found it "a lot more spongy", with "a lot more free power". The tester lost a bit of smash power, gained comfort and called it a great racket for an intermediate player. Before anyone had played it, Dani 13 went through the 2027 catalogue and said he did not expect a big difference in response from the Neuron 02 Edge Comfort, because both pair Fibrix with Multieva.

How It Compares

XPLO 02 2027. Same shape, same 365–375 g and the same Multieva core, per Bullpadel. The difference is the face: X-Tend Carbon 3K and an intermediate to hard touch on the XPLO 02, Fibrix and an intermediate touch on the Comfort. It also costs €80 more, at €329.99. On paper, hard hitters who want maximum punch on the smash fit the XPLO 02, and players who want more help from the racket and a softer impact fit the Comfort.

Xplo Comfort 26. Bullpadel lists the same figures as this year: 365–375 g, a balance of about 26.5 cm, a 535 cm² face, Fibrix on Multieva and an intermediate touch. Last year's list price was about €240. The change is in the structure: XPLO Core² takes the place of last year's Geometric Core. If you find the 2026 model on sale, it is close on paper.

Check the numbers. Bullpadel's spec table for the Comfort matches last year's, figure for figure. The XPLO 02, which All Court Padel was told shares the same structure, lists a 507 cm² face and a 27 cm balance. Bullpadel also calls the Comfort lighter than the XPLO 02, but gives both 365–375 g, and Padel Market lists the Comfort at 360–370 g. Weigh the racket you buy if the exact figure matters to you.
